Igor Veselovskii, chercheur du "Physics Instrumentation Center of General Physics Institute" à Troitsk (région de Moscou) en Russie, donnera un séminaire au LISA ce jeudi 15 Septembre à 11h dans la salle de réunion 456 du 4 étage du bâtiment P4 (UPEC, Créteil). Son exposée sera intitulée :
"Potential of multiwavelength lidars for aerosol characterization"

ABSTRACT
An algorithm for retrieval of particle bulk properties such as volume, surface density and complex refractive index from multiwavelength lidar measurements is presented. The approach is based on expansion of particle size distribution in terms of measurement kernels, thus allowing to speed up computations and to improve the retrieval robustness in respect to input errors. The developed technique was applied to long-term measurements performed  in 2010-2011.  The multiwavelength lidar data for the first time were inverted to height-temporal distributions of particle parameters.
