SHADE

The Saharan Dust Experiment (SHADE) was conducted by the UK Met Office C-130 aircraft in the period 21�28 September 2000. Four research flights were performed over the Atlantic Ocean from Sal Island, in the Cape Verde archipelago (16.8�N, 22.8�W) to explore the dust outflow at short-range after emission.
